LAHORE: Lahore Police has received security threats regarding educational institutions in Pakistan.
The National College of Arts Hostel was closed for security reasons for one week.
The hostel management said that the police had already informed about the decision.
Students from far-off areas were worried about the decision.
Meanwhile, the police launched a search operation in Punjab University, Sanda and adjacent areas.
Several suspects were arrested in the operation.
The police said that security at educational institutions had been enhanced.
