Senior government officer under NAB trial dies mysteriously in jail: sources

LAHORE - Yet another NAB under trial senior government officer has died in jail.
A deputy director under trial prisoner of the National Accountancy Bureau (NAB) died at Lahore’s Camp Jail on Monday.
According to the details, incarcerated Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Deputy Director Muhammad Saleem passed away in custody.
The reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained.
This is the second death of a NAB prisoner within the past four days as corruption accused CEO of Sargodha University’s Lahore Campus died of a “cardiac arrest” on Friday.
Professor Mian Javed was also being held at Camp Jail where he suffered a heart attack and died.
