Roadside bomb martyrs 3 soldiers in North Waziristan
PESHAWAR: Anti-state elements have on Sunday once again targeted security forces as the Frontier Corp’s vehicle was hit with roadside blast in Tehsil, Ghulam Khan of North Waziristan, martyring three soldiers.
According to initial reports, the blast took place as the soldiers were clearing a road in Ghulam Khan, in the North Waziristan tribal region, ahead of a security convoy.
The men were part of the bomb disposal unit clearing the area.
After being informed, security forces and rescue staff reached the spot and shifted the bodies to local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The security forces cordoned off the area and launched investigation into the incident.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
