Govt working on comprehensive development plan: Marriyum

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that by following the golden principles of Quaid-e-Azam, the country can be put on the path of progress and development.
She was addressing the cake-cutting ceremony in connection with the Quaid's birth anniversary at PTV on Monday.
The Minister said that Quaid-e-Azam was a great advocate of democracy. She said that all the federating units should work together to strengthen the democratic institutions in the country.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that by following the path of Quaid-e-Azam the government is striving hard to address the challenges facing the country. She said that the government has added 11,000 megawatt of electricity in the national grid. She said the issue of terrorism has been overcome.
The Minister of State said that the government is working on comprehensive plans for the development of the country and welfare of the common man. She said that Prime Minister's Education Reforms Programme, Health Cards and other initiatives will improve the standard of education and health in the country.
