World's first underwater Villas unveiled

MALDIVES - Maldives unveils first ever underwater luxurious fully submerged villas 16.4 feet down. The destination already has several underwater restaurants, spa, guest rooms, but with addition of villas, Maldives is surely set to receive a sea of people to experience living amidst sea life.
The villas will be called 'The Muraka' meaning coral in the Maldivian language of Dhivehi. The exclusive residence will be located at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort, and is slated to open this November.
There are several other resorts in Maldives that offer underwater bedrooms, but they are all man-man aquariums. While, 'The Muraka' sits on the ocean floor 16.4 feet underwater in the Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, one of 26 natural atolls in the Maldives known for being one of the best places to view whale sharks.
The unique residence can accommodate up to nine guests, has two levels - one above water, and one below - and includes a powder room, gym, kitchen, bar, living room, dining area, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, butler's quarters, and private security quarters.
