ISLAMABAD - Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar cavalcade has met with an accident while on his way from Islamabad to Balakot.
He was going from Islamabad to Bala Kot to see the earthquake victims fund case when six vehicles involved in his caravan collapsed in Pokal Square near Mansehra.
The cars crashed include the Chief Justice's protocol, Rangers and media representatives.
The incident has been caused due to unexpected breaks of a car driver, but no casualties occurred in the accident.
The three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Pakistan Saqib Nisar in the Supreme Court heard the earthquake victims fund case.
During the hearing, the Chief Justice Saqib Nisar decided to go to the earthquake affected areas of Balakot and directed the applicants to go along.
The Chief Justice took information about the private helicopter from the Registrar Supreme Court, saying that the helicopter is a carrier to rent, will visit the earthquake affected areas on its own.
