PM Imran Khan vows to transform police into a dynamic force

Prime Minister Imran Khan has on Saturday said that the government is making all-out efforts to uplift the backward areas of the country.

While addressing a at Isa Khel Cadet College in Mianwali, the premier said a new system has been evolved to ensure the presence of doctors in the hospitals of far-flung areas.

The Prime Minister said the government is keen to transform police into such a dynamic force that protects the weak segments of society.

He directed the Inspector General of Police, Punjab to ensure that the common man is treated fairly at the police stations.

The Prime Minister also added that we are focusing on the provision of basic civic amenities of life to the people of these areas including health and education infrastructure.

Imran Khan emphasized the need of knowledge economy terming it imperative to put the country on the path of progress and development.

He was optimistic that Pakistan will emerge as a strong country in the comity of nations and the dream of Naya Pakistan will come true.

Moreover, the premier will also visit NAMAL University and inaugurate the first phase of Knowledge City established in the University.

Earlier in a day, PM Imran on the occasion link of 75th Anniversary of United Nations (UN), said Pakistan will continue to play a leading role in the UN for peaceful settlement of international disputes and developing friendly relations amongst nations based on the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples as enshrined in the UN Charter.

The premier said Pakistan remains committed to supporting the UN for realization of our shared objectives of maintaining international peace and security, economic and social development including the achievement of sustainable development goals.

Pakistan is proud to play its part in upholding universal values to protect and safeguard human rights and fundamental freedoms for all, he added
