Police officer died in clashes during anti encroachment operation in Lahore

LAHORE – An Additional Station House Officer (SHO) Waris Ali died in Lahore after sustaining fatal injuries during clash in anti encroachment drive.
He succumbed to injuries sustained during anti-encroachment drive in the vicinities of Data Darbar.
Police have lodged first investment report (FIR) against the land grabber group.
As per details garnered, police and judge bailiff launched joint anti-encroachment drive against the land grabber groups in the vicinities of Data Darbar. As the operation expedited, the culprits assaulted police officials. During physical altercation, Ali suffered injuries on the chest.
Rescue officials immediately rushed Ali to nearby hospital where he succumbed to chest injuries.
