Amir Liaqat Hussain joins PTI

KARACHI: Renowned scholar Dr Aamir Liaquat has decided to join Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Aamir Liaquat Hussain, who is also a renowned television celebrity, left MQM after MQM founder Altaf Hussain’s August 22 speech in which he urged his supporters to raise anti-Pakistan slogans and attack media house.
“I apologise again and again from Pakistan and people of Pakistan. Nothing is more important to me than Pakistan,” Aamir Liaquat told ARY News anchor Kashif Abbasi on August 23.
