Pakistan always desired to resolve issue with India peacefully: Dr Firdous

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan says Pakistan had always desired to have dialogue process with India for resolving all longstanding issues, including the Kashmir dispute.
Talking to a private news channel, she said Prime Minister Imran Khan had already stated that Pakistan would take two steps forward for peace if India took one step for the purpose.
The special assistant said Pakistanis are a peace loving nation, which, however, should not be construed as their weakness.
To a question, she said we respects Narendra Modi's mandate and ready for negotiations with his government for resolving the lingering issues.
To another question, she said Narendra Modi will have to change his extremist mindset for the sake of peace in the region.
