Friday last date to apply for Election Symbols: ECP

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission has once again drawn attention of political parties to comply with the provisions of the Election Act 2017 to submit applications for allotment of Election Symbols latest by Friday.

The applications are required to be sent to the Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Election Commission of Pakistan has uploaded draft polling scheme on its website for General Elections 2018.

The polling scheme provides constituency wise details of polling stations, number of polling booths there and the number of voters assigned to each polling station.

ploaded in respect of Federal Capital, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, KPK and FATA.

On the other hand, Election Commission has released final electoral rolls for general elections this year.

According to the rolls, the total number of registerted voteres in Pakistan is one hundred five million nine hundred fifty five thousand four hundred seven.

These include fifty nine million two hundred twenty four thousand two hundred sixty two male and forty six million seven hundred thirty one thousand one hundred forty five female voters.

In Punjab, the number of total voters is 60,672,868; in Sindh 22,391,244; in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 15,316,299; in Balochistan 4,299,494; in FATA 2,510,154; and in Islamabad Capital Territory the number of voters is 765,348 voters.
