Sindh HC reserves verdict on Ayyan Ali contempt of court plea

KARACHI: Sindh High Court has reserved decision over the contempt of court plea of Model Ayyan Ali for not removing her name from Exist Control List despite of court verdict.


As per details, two member bench headed by Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Sajjad Ali Shah heard plea of Model Ayyan Ali here at today for not removing her name from ECL .


During the hearing, Additional Attorney General took plea that Model Ayyan Ali name had been put in ECL again as per law and Supreme Court was also informed in this regard.


He requested Sindh HC to reject the plea of Ayyan Ali but court questioned Additional Attorney General that why Ayyan name was entered in ECL again after removing her name.


AAG Salman Talib replied that there are so many things that could be presented before court in this case. After hearing the arguments from both sides court has reserved its verdict.


It is also worthy to mention here that Sindh HC allowed Ayyan to leave abroad but HC verdict had been challenged by Interior Ministry and Custom Officials in Supreme Court but verdict of Sindh HC  was upheld by SC however, Ayyan name was entered again in ECL .
