China pledges to further enhance diplomatic ties with Pakistan
China has appreciated Pakistan's role in regional stability and pledged to further enhance diplomatic cooperation with Pakistan at all levels.
The appreciation was extended by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during a meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi.
The Chinese Foreign Minister said Pakistan-China relationship is based on convergence of views and mutual respect. He appreciated security being provided to CPEC and said China believes in inclusive prosperity. He specially appreciated Pakistan's efforts for hosting the OIC's 48th Council of Foreign Ministers conference.
Referring to OIC's 48th Council of Foreign Ministers session, General Bajwa termed it a historic development for addressing the dire humanitarian situation in Afghanistan and bringing international community to a shared vision and joint strategy to find solution to emerging challenges in the region vital for peace and stability.
Appreciating professionalism of Pakistan Army, Wang Yi said world should acknowledge Pakistan's efforts towards regional peace and stability.
