Over 100 Ambassadors across the World pay tribute to Pakistani peakeeping troops in U.N

NEW YORK - Pakistan's Representative at the United Nations Dr Maleeha Lodhi has paid rich tribute to Pakistani men and women who serve as UN peacekeepers, saying that they keep our flag flying high.
In her welcome remarks at the reception hosted by her to celebrate Pakistan Day in New York, Maleeha Lodhi said Pakistan's remarkable journey since the Pakistan Resolution was adopted has been powered by the spirit and resilience of the Pakistani people.
Over a hundred Ambassadors from all regions of the world as well as many more diplomats and UN officials attended the reception.
On the occasion, the Pakistan Mission set up photo displays to project Pakistan's history, culture and its contribution to United Nations peacekeeping. A special photo exhibition highlighted Pakistani women in UN peacekeeping.
