Islamabad: Federal Cabinet Members clash with each other in presence of PM Imran Khan. Federal Cabinet members on Tuesday fired salvos against each other while talking about government’s performance in a heated session.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was chairing the meeting, has to intervene to cool down the situation.

According to sources, Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda came hard on cabinet members for not performing up to the mark.

There is no performance on the ground, he said, adding that the ideology of the PTI cannot be left behind. “We are cognizant of elements misleading the cabinet,” he said.

At it, the prime minister took Vawda to a separate room and barred it from further talk.

Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar also criticized science and technology minister Fawad Chaudhry over his recent interview in which the latter had exposed PTI’s internal clashes and failures.

Umar said that a minister should be very careful while talking about any matter.

The planning minister also came under fire and he was accused of leaking economic progress report to media.

The prime minister, following the debate, has given six months to all ministers to improve their performance.
