Indian NIA arrests seven Hurriyat leaders in Occupied Kashmir on terrorism charges

In occupied Kashmir, Indian authorities arrested seven Hurriyat leaders in Srinagar on Monday after implicating them in false cases.

The leaders include Altaf Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Merajuddin Kalwal, Peer Saifullah, Ayaz Muhammad Akbar, Farooq Ahmed Dar and Shahid-ul-Islam.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian National Investigation Agency summoned these leaders to its office at Humhama in Srinagar and took them into custody. Later, they were airlifted to New Delhi.

Joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik called for complete shutdown in occupied Kashmir tomorrow to protest the illegal arrest of these leaders.
