Turkey urges US to stop backing Kurdish YPG

Turkey has urged the United States to stop backing the Kurdish YPG in Syria.
A spokesman for Turkish President Ibrahim Kalin told BBC that Kurdish fighters were using US-supplied weapons against Turkish troops trying to oust them from the Afrin region.
Meanwhile, Turkey has said that it will take whatever steps it needs for its security.
In a statement, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that terrorists in Manbij city that are constantly firing provocation shots. If the United States doesn’t stop this, we will stop it.
