Afghan intelligence senior officer killed by Afghan Taliban

FARAH CITY : The intelligence chief for the Pushtkoh district of western Farah province has been killed along with a policeman in a Taliban ambush, an official said on Wednesday.
Haji Abdul Qader, deputy police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News Mohammad Ismail was ambushed on his way to Farah City, the provincial capital, late on Tuesday. He said one policeman was also killed in the attack.
Qari Yousaf Ahmadi, Taliban’s spokesman, confirmed the attack and claimed Ismail and two police personnel were killed and their car damaged.
