Iranian envoy calls for Muslim world unity to face challenges
ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Iran in Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost said that it was need of the hour that all the Muslim states forged unity to face the challenges.
Talking to a private television channel, the ambassador said Pakistan and Iran were two neighborly Islamic states. Both the countries were faced with terrorism and would have to face it jointly, he added.
He said the relations between Pakistan and Iran were of unique having so many commonalities.
To a question, he said all the issue including the regional and international ones should be resolved through dialogue.
He said unfortunately, terrorism was not faced by any single state rather it had become a global phenomenon that required concerted efforts for the elimination.
