PESHAWAR: (APP) The Capital City Police Peshawar (CCPP) and other security forces Friday foiled terrorist bid and recovered 25 kg explosive, one IED, prim card, fuses, detonators and 34 hand grenades from Shah Pur area, SSP Operations Sajjad Khan told media persons.

He said the explosive material and hand grenades were concealed at a secret place in the area, adding that CCPP and security forces received tip-off and conducted raid.

In another action in jurisdiction of Police Station Chamkani, he said a police team raided on a house in City Home area and recovered 24 guns, 12 pistols, 7,100 bullets and 76 magazines and arrested one accused Ayub s/o Zarif resident of Lakki Marwat.
