FM hopes Pakistan will win Kulbhushan case at ICJ

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi says Pakistan will effectively present its point of view in the international court of justie in the case of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadev as it has concrete evidence against him. Talking to newsmen in Multan today, he expressed the hope that Pakistan will get justice in the case.

About Afghanistan, the Foreign Minister said Pakistan is desirous of improving ties with Kabul on the basis of mutual respect. He said both countries have rendered huge sacrifices in war on terror.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said he is thankful to the Indian Prime Minister for extending Eid wishes to Pakistanis.

He also expressed the smiliar good wishes to millions of Muslims in India on the occasion of Eidul Azha.

The Foreign Minister said we will raise the issue of derogatory caricatures at the forum of OIC, as it is the best place to highlight the emotions of Muslims.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the nation should get ready as we will have to take difficult decisions.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan is fully aware of the problems of common citizens and his first address to the nation was also reflection of these problems.

He said the government desires to materialize the idea of establishing South Punjab province. However, the government will take all political parties along on this issue as two-thirds majority is required for establishing the new province.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi termed the statements of PPP leaders Bilawal Bhutto and Qamar Zaman Kaira on the issue of new province as positive.

The Foreign Minister expressed confidence that the country will be able to pull itself out the quagmire of challenges it faces, but urged the people to continue supporting the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government. He said that in the first 100 days, the PTI will chalk out a clear path for the government based on its manifesto.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that in the first cabinet meeting, Prime Minister made some major decisions. He has given directions and people are happy with these decisions.
