Sons of soil laid to rest with full honour

RAWALPINDI – The funeral prayers of seven security personnel, who martyred in an operation in North Waziristan, were offered at GHQ in Rawalpindi on Sunday.
According to the statement of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the funeral prayers of martyred Cap Junaid among six others army personnel were held in the GHQ. The ISPR said that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa attended the funeral prayers.
The army’s media wing said, after the funeral prayers, the bodies were sent to respective native towns for burial ceremony with full military honour.
