Pakistan should stop begging India for dialogues now

ISLAMABAD - Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that war is not a solution to anything and India, Pakistan should resort to negotiations.

The information minister in an interview to an Indian Newspaper said that cancellation of meeting of foreign ministers of India and Pakistan is unfortunate, although for bilateral relations India has to prepare the future strategy itself.

Fawad said that it was a setback from India to cancel the meeting along the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The information minister said “Despite the setback, Pakistan is ready to open Kartarpur Border for India pilgrims to offer their religious obligations.”

War is not a solution to anything and is not a viable option for both the countries he said, adding that Pakistan and India should resort to negotiations.
