Indian Army Chief comes up with yet anther controversial statement against Pakistan

NEW DELHI - Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has come with another irresponsible statement against Pakistan.

He has backed Modi-led BJP govt’s decision of declining Pakistan’s offer to initiate dialogue.

Gen Bipin once again rehashed the old mantra that terrorism and talks can’t go hand in hand.

“The decision of Modi’s govt is legitimate. Pakistan must take such an initiative which coerces India into contemplating that terrorism is not being sponsored”, Indian army chief was quoted as saying.

He went on to say that current atmosphere isn’t suitable for Pak-India dialogue.

Earlier Saturday, Gen Bipin had threatened to take limited military action against Pakistan Army saying it is time to give it back to them in the same leaving aside the kind of barbarism they had resorted to.

According to Indian media reports, Rawat while making hollow claims said that it is important for the neighbouring country to also feel the pain and it needs to understand at the same time that it needs to curb the terrorism menace.
