KPK senior civil officer promoted after retirement

PESHAWAR (APP): The establishment department to the surprise of many has issued a notification giving promotion to a retired civil officer with retrospective effect June 29, 2016.
Following is the text of the KP Establishment Department: "The Competent Authority on the recommendations of Provincial Selection Board has promoted Muhammad Khalid Khan (RTD PCS EG BS-20)
Ex Director, Staff Training Institute to PCS EG BS-21, on regular basis, with effect from 29.6.2016, in terms of Para-VII of the Promotion Policy 2009. His promotion as well as assumption of charge in BPS-21 with effect from 29.6.2016 shall be on notional basis."
