ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday sought reply from respondents in a case seeking to disclose reasons for crashing of Pakistan International Airlines' (PIA) flight PK-661 in 2016.
IHC's Justice Aamer Farooq resumed hearing of the petition filed by the families of victims of the air crash through their counsel Umer Adam Advocate.
During the course of proceedings, the petitioner's counsel contended before the court that a number of precious lives were lost due to crashing of the aircraft on December 7, 2016, which was not a first accident in Pakistan.
He requested the court to order the PIA and other respondents to make public the reasons of aircraft crash.
The court served the notices to PIA, PIMS hospital and Ministry of Defence. The case was adjourned till November 27.
