ECC of cabinet takes multiple important decisions

The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has recommended the allocation of six billion rupees funds for Balkasar -Mianwali road and Mianwali-Muzaffargarh road projects.
The ECC, which met with Minister for Economic Affairs Umar Ayub in the chair in Islamabad, approved the proposal scrapping of wheat import tender over higher prices.
The meeting also recommended the summary presented by Ministry of Commerce for elimination/reduction of tariffs on various items currently being imported from Afghanistan as goodwill gesture.
