ISLAMABAD - Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors have condemned the withdrawal of the United States from the Iran nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), IRNA said on Friday.
Thirty members of the IAEA Board of Governors gave lectures on verification of Iran’s commitment to its obligations.
Most of the IAEA Board of Governors stressed importance of saving the Iranian nuclear deal and criticized the US’ pull out from the multilateral agreement.
The IAEA members lauded Iran cooperation with the international body and urged all sides to stick to their obligation.
The US and its allies tried to affect the IAEA meeting by their politically motivated lectures but to no avail, IRNA reported.
Some IAEA members, including Venezuela, protested the politically motivated lectures that were not on the subject. - APP
