Good news from Saudi Arabia over Hajj pilgrim

Saudi Arabian authorities have permitted pilgrims from across the world to perform Hajj this year. The decision has been taken with a condition of implementing strict precautionary measures in order to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

Maulana Tahir Ashrafi serving as the Special Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony has recently announced that the authorities of Saudi Arabia link have granted permission for 60,000 overseas Hajj pilgrims, from across the globe, including Pakistan.

On the contrary, Saudi government has not yet approved Chinese coronavirus vaccines. In light of the aforementioned concern, Pakistan has requested Saudi Arabia link to approve any of the Chinese vaccines so that Pakistani pilgrims do not face any problem in entering the Kingdom.

The spokesman Foreign office Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri stated that Pakistan is in conversation with the Saudi authorities with respect to voicing the problem of approved vaccines to ensure entrance of Pakistani Hajj and Umrah pilgrims to Saudi Arabia link.
