Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad takes special interest in JF 17 fighter jet, gets briefing by top officials

RAWALPINDI - Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, who was on a three-day visit to Pakistan, departed for his homeland on Saturday.

Ahead of his departure, Malaysian PM inspected the JF-17 Thunder fighter jet at Nur Khan Airbase.

The Malaysian premier was briefed on the JF-17 Thunder fighter jet at the Nur Khan Airbase. Prime Minister Imran Khan was also accompanying the Malaysian premier at the airport.

Earlier during the day, the Malaysian prime minister attended the Pakistan Day parade in Islamabad as the guest of honour.

On Friday, Mahathir Mohamad was conferred the highest civil award Nishan-e-Pakistan at an impressive investiture ceremony held at the President House in Islamabad.
