Dar urges Opposition to avoid playing politics on national issues
ISLAMABAD: Special Advisor to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar on Friday urged the Opposition parties to avoid playing politics on national issues.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was making propaganda on Nawaz Sharif’s health while Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was gimmicking the government to protect their leaders from corruption charges.
He suggested the Opposition parties to debate on constructive politics and avoid criticizing the positive working of government.
They can also talk about the internal matters or governance issues, he said adding that PPP and PML-N should not talk about un-debatable matters.
He said Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) was committed on national action plan (NAP), adding that we want the political parties including Opposition to come forward and cooperate with the government for implementing the NAP in true perspective.
Usman Dar further stated that PTI was ready to negotiate with Opposition on any national interest.
To a question, he said that narrative of Chairman, PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, regarding Indian aggression, had given strengthen to Indian Prime Minister Nerendra Modi’s election campaign.
