Pak, China resolve to further expand defence ties

ISLAMABAD:Pakistan and China have expressed satisfaction on the level of cooperation in the field of defence production and resolved to further expand the existing relations.
The resolve was expressed during a meeting of high level Chinese delegation with Minister and Secretary Ministry of Defence Production.
During the meeting, matters of bilateral defence collaboration came under discussion and both sides ensured smooth implementation of various projects of defence collaboration.
The Chinese delegation also called on Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain.
The delegation showed keen interest in enhancing collaboration with Pakistan in the defence sector and military trade.
The Minister for Defence Production appreciated long history of Pak-China relations in all fields and highlighted the need to identify the areas of cooperation which may help in further strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and its all-weather friendly China.
He said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with China. APP/AFP
