24 killed in Afghan clashes

KABUL: In Afghanistan, twenty four people including twenty militants and four policemen have been killed and twenty five others injured in different incidents.

According to media reports, sixteen people including twelve militants and four policemen have been killed and twelve others injured during a clash in Farah province.

The clash erupted after the militants stormed some security checkpoints in Darabad and Haider Gholi areas outside Farah city.

In another incident, eight militants killed and thirteen others injured during security operations in Daychopan district of Zabul province.
