Pak Navy ship ASLAT arrives in UK, gets warm welcome by Royal Navy

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy ship Aslat has arrived at Portsmouth Naval Base in the United Kingdom, to strengthen friendly ties with Mediterranean and European countries through naval diplomacy.
Upon arrival at the port, the ship was warmly welcomed by Commander Naval Base Portsmouth, High Commissioner of Pakistan and Defence and Naval Advisor.
It is the third overseas deployment of PN Aslat to a port in Mediterranean and European countries.
It carries special significance for both the navies as maiden PN-RN bilateral Exercise in UK waters is also part of the ship’s visit programme.
