The former premier has been moved from his cell to the hospital at the prison for the check-up.

The board was formed on the directives of the Ministry of Interior after the three-time premier complained of kidney-related pain, according to the jail authorities.

It would be decided in the light of his medical report whether he needed to be shifted to a hospital or not.

It merits mention here that PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif had earlier written a letter to caretaker Prime Minister retired Justice Nasirul Mulk, complaining that there was no air conditioner in his elder brother’s cell nor were there proper medical facilities.
