AIG Ashar Hameed laid to rest: Death cause still uncertain

LAHORE: (APP) AIG Ashar Hameed, who was found dead at his room in Islamabad yesterday, was laid to rest at a graveyard here on Saturday.
IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera, Punjab Home Secretary Azam Suleman, former IGP Tariq Saleem Dogar, former chief justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif, family members and a large number of people from various walks of life attended funeral prayers at Eidgha, Miani Sahib.
Qul will be held at his residence at 44-G Block, Joher Town, near G-one market at 5.00pm on Sunday.
