PM Imran Khan breaks silence over issue of Broadsheet
ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan said that they have nothing to do with Broadsheet, adding that former president Pervez Musharraf had hired it and gave the NRO.
Talking to the media on Friday, he said that the government was paying 5,000 pounds daily if the fine was not paid off. "We have formed a committee comprising of ministers, which will look into the matter," he added.
PM Imran Khan said that billions of dollars owned by Pakistanis are lying abroad. "Money laundering amounting to US$10 billion is done each year," he maintained.
He said that they trust today's Election Commission of Pakistan. "I want open hearing of the foreign funding case so that the people should know the facts," he said.
