LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Friday ordered to remove name of chief executive officer (CEO) of a textile mill from Exit Control List (ECL).

The prosecutor further submitted that the Supreme Court had also taken suo motu notice of the issue. He pleaded with the court to dismiss the petition.

However, petitioner’s counsel submitted that his client was being victimised. He submitted that the bureau summoned him in Fawad Hassan Fawad case but got included his name in the ECL. He questioned that why the name of only one person was included in the ECL whereas others were also involved in the IPPs matter. He requested for issuing directions to remove name of his client from the ECL.
