Lahore Qalandars speed star Haris Rauf faces a blow from PCB

SHARJAH - Lahore Qalandars speed star Haris Rauf faces a blow from PCB for violating the code of conduct.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday decided to slap Lahore Qalandars’ fast bowler Haris Rauf with a fine worth 10 per cent of his match fee over a violation of its code of conduct.

The incident took place during the 10th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) wherein Qalandars beat Multan Sultans.

According to the PCB, Rauf had come face-to-face with Multan Sultans Dan Christian after the latter was run-out in a manner that was insulting and also against the game spirit.

The PCB further mentioned that on-field umpires Ranmore Martinesz and Shozab Raza as well as third and fourth umpires Rashid Riaz and Tariq Rasheed, respectively, had charged the bowler for violating Clause 2.1.4 of the Code of Conduct.
