The United States says Russia is responsible for the deaths of more than four hundred people in bombing of Syria's Eastern Ghouta.
Speaking to journalists in Washington, the State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert blamed Russia for not reeling in its ally President Bashar al-Assad's regime.
The criticism came, after the UN Security Council failed to agree on a new draft resolution for a 30-day ceasefire in Eastern Ghouta to allow humanitarian aid to the civilian population stuck there.AFP
