PSL-3: Karachi Kings thrash Quetta Gladiators

DUBAI – Karachi Kings defeated Quetta Gladiators by 19 runs in the second match of Pakistan Super League’s third edition on Friday.

Quetta failed to chase 150 runs target set by Karachi Kings.

Karachi Kings batted first and scored 149 runs for the loss of nine wickets. South Africa’s Colin Ingram scored 41 runs whereas opener Khurram Manzoor scored 35 runs.

In reply, Quetta Gladiators lost three wickets for just 15 runs. Umar Amin and Muhammad Nawaz gave them some hope by scoring 31 and 30 runs respectively but Shahid Afridi’s performance with ball and fielding changed them game.

Quetta Gladiators were restricted to just 130 runs in 20 overs. Karachi’s skipper Imad Wasim was best of all the bowlers he took wickets by conceding just 19 runs.
