Pakistan becomes 3rd largest E-Commerce country in the world

ISLAMABAD: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that Pakistan has become the third largest E-Commerce country in the world and has the potential to become regional hub of IT.
He was addressing a ceremony arranged by Higher Education Commission (HEC) to launch Smart and Safe University projects.
He said that no nation can make progress without adopting Information Technology (IT).
Twenty thousand scholarships will be provided to the youth by the end of next year, he added.
While speaking on this occasion, Federal Education Minister Baleeghur Rahman said that the government is committed to provide opportunity of higher education to the youth and to do so it has increased the budget of the HEC.
