Significant increase in the prices of Petroleum products on cards

Islamabad: Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has requested National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to increase electricity price Rs by 1.52 per unit.
The application has stated that the price rise be considered fuel adjustment for October and November by Rs. 0.95 and Rs. 0.57 respectively.
NEPRA has added that both petitions will be heard on December 30 in Islamabad.
Earlier in the month of November, the electricity tariffs have been increased by Rs. 0.48 per unit for one month.
