ISLAMABAD – PTI government makes important announcement regarding Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
PTI leader Babar Awan has said that the government cannot allow Maryam Nawaz to go abroad as she is a convict.
Talking to the media on Monday, he said that the government will take the legal and constitutional course in the Musharraf high treason case. “No one should think about a clash between institutions. The government will move court if thought it appropriate in the Musharraf case,” he said.
Babar Awan said that the in-house change is not a cauldron of ‘haleem’ and it was not possible either. “We did not do politics on the illness of former premier Nawaz Sharif,” he added.
He said that it was decision of the PTI core committee that no convict would be allowed to go abroad. “We will have to make the parliament a legislative institution instead of a platform for making speeches,” he said.
