Why Supreme Court has referred back Ayyan Ali Case to SHC

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The Supreme Court on Thursday referred Ayyan Ali case back to Sindh High Court with directions to hear case from the week starting from January 9.

A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Mian Saqib Nisar heard the case filed by Ayyan Ali seeking removal of her name from the Exit Control List (ECL).

During the course of proceedings, Sardar Lateef Khosa counsel for Ayyan Ali said authorities were teasing his client. He pleaded the court to order the Interior Ministry to remove Ayyan Ali's name from ECL and allow her to travel abroad.

The court after hearing arguments referred the case back to SHC and adjourned hearing of the case till date in office.
