Electricity prices reduced by NEPRA

ISLAMABAD: National Electric Production and Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has announced a cut of over Rs. 1 per unit in power prices.
According to details, Nepra has announced a Rs. 1.70 per unit decrease in electricity rates.The rates have been revised due to fuel adjustments in the month of July.
The new rates will not be applicable to the consumers of K-Electric (KE).
The cost of energy production for the month of July was Rs. 4.78 per unit while the consumers had to pay Rs. 6.49 per unit in the electricity bills for June.
