KARACHI: (APP) Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal Tuesday called for stern action against those who attacked media houses in Karachi on Monday, following the speech of MQM leader Altaf Hussain.
Addressing a press conference here, he said some people were trying to save their skin in the aftermath of the public backlash and strong resentment all over the country, against Altaf's provactive speech.
He also called for stern action against those responsible for violence and attacks on the media houses and stressed that such miscreants should be brought to justice. However, no innocent should be implicated, he added.
Mustafa Kamal pointed out although 85 per cent people of urban areas of Sindh gave mandate to the MQM, yet the situation in their areas was deteriorating gradually.
Commenting on the press conference of MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar on Tuesday, Mustafa Kamal said he failed to understand as to what Dr Farooq Sattar was trying to convey.
Mustafa Kamal strongly condemned the objectionable address of Altaf Hussain and the subsequent violence in which some media houses were attacked.
