Earlier today, close aides of the prime minister were probably unaware of development on his coronavirus test as they were making opposite statements, creating confusion among public.

The prime minister was advised to get tested for the infection after he met Faisal Edhi, the head of the Edhi Foundation, who later diagnosed with COVID-19.

A controversy started stemming earlier today when Special Assistant to PM on Human Resource Development confirmed that the prime minister has tested negative for the coronavirus and the statement was rejected by other government official and a PTI worker.

Dr Faisal Sultan, the personal physician of the prime minister and his focal person on coronavirus, said that samples for the test of Khan is yet to be taken.

Later, Dr Shehbaz Gill, a PTI leader and former spokesperson of Punjab Government, also took to tweet and said that unauthentic news about premier’s test should not be aired.
