Head coach Mickey Arthur and captain Sarfraz Ahmed talking to media in Lahore say they are fully prepared for England series and the world cup and players will have to put to use all of their skills to get to the semifinals.
Arthur and Sarfraz said players have trained hard for the England series and will be at their best against the hosts.
Coach Arthur said, only the good teams are playing the World Cup and their primary goal is to reach the semifinals. Arthur said in order to do that, they must be at their best. Coach added that their team is a balanced side and they have lot of hopes from veteran Muhammad Hafeez. Pakistan cricket team leaves for England series and the World Cup tomorrow.
Pakistan play three one-day matches against county teams before taking on England in the five-match ODI series starting May 5, in the run up to the ICC World Cup.
