AJK President urges media to broadcast true picture of Occupied Kashmir

President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan has urged the media to broadcast true picture of the Occupied Kashmir.
Addressing a seminar titled "Role of Pakistani Media in Mitigating Diplomatic Pressures" in Islamabad today, he said state-run media Radio Pakistan and PTV have great legitimacy and need to increase their influence more.
The AJK President said Pakistani media played a positive role in recent Pakistan-India stand-off whereas Indian media played a role to promote war hysteria. He called upon India to stop killing the youth of valley.
He urged the international community to play its due role to solve longstanding issue of Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said media diplomacy in conflict resolution has its great significance.
He said mass media has become a powerful tool for diplomacy. The Spokesperson said Pakistani media deserves praise for its positive role in recent Pak-India tension.
